Kathy Recio:

Mrs. Recio has trained at Ultimate Sambo since it’s inception in 1999 . After becoming an accomplished competitor and receiving her black belt in 2007, Mrs. Recio decided to share her knowledge and became an instructor at the academy. Her dedication to the art of Sambo, as well as to her students, and her knowledge of technique all contribute to her effectiveness as a trainer and coach in the children’s program.

Brian Benjamin

Mr. Benjamin began his training at Ultimate Sambo in 2005 without any prior martial arts experience. Though in looking at him today this is hard to believe as he is a very accomplished practitioner and competitor. Mr. Benjamin received his first Black Belt at Ultimate Sambo in 2009 His zeal and determination are second to none. His expertise, understanding, and ability to relate technique to students of various levels make him an excellent coach and trainer.

David Juliano

When Mr. Juliano first joined Ultimate Sambo he was already an accomplished karate practitioner but he was new to grappling. David’s athleticism and innovative approach make him a dangerous grappler and a great instructor with huge potential. Ryan Sheridan

Mr. Sheridan is new to the sport of Sambo and has been training at Ultimate Sambo since 2007. His desire to learn is contagious. Mr. Sheridan trains and assists everyday and participates in all events held by the academy. His dedication and ability to retain technique make him invaluable addition to our coaching staff.
