Master Vladislav Koulikov, Chief Instructor

Master Vladislav Koulikov, Chief Instructor, has been training in SAMBO since 1984, having received his training at Sambo 70, which is one of the most prestigious Sambo Schools in Russia, under the instruction of S.V. Vorotyagin, USSR & World Champion. Instructor Koulikov, was the 1989 Moscow Regional Sambo Champion and both a Gold and Silver Medalist in USSR National Sambo Championships. He holds a Black Belt in Judo & Ni hon Kenpo Karate and currently continues practice in JuJuTsu.

He is a continual grappling competitor having recently been awarded most technical fighter in Grapplers Quest, Montclair, NJ, after placing first in his division. Instructor Koulikov, also offers remote seminars on such topics as Russian Leg Locks and Advanced Takedowns. Instructor Koulikov feels that with hard work, dedication and guidance, athletes can realize their goals and he is committed to helping them achieve their dreams through perseverance.

Master Yvonne Koulikov

Master Yvonne Koulikov is a continual student in both Sambo & Jujutsu. She holds a second degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a Black Belt in Judo, and is a New York state champion in both forms and full contact sparring as well as being a continual competitor in grappling tournaments throughout the Northeast. She is also a mixed martial arts fighter and grappling champion. Mrs. Koulikov has appeared on television to share her knowledge on practical self defense as well as being asket to talk about self defense at civic groups and schools.
